Sunday, October 2nd, 2011 - A young man was discovered in our parking lot who had committed suicide in his vehicle.

Family of God Lutheran church held a prayer service October 3rd in response to the death of Anthony "TJ" Klocke.  The service ended by going to the space in the church parking lot where TJ was found to reclaim it as a sacred space with a candle light vigil.  Family of God church welcomes any  family members and friends to come and visit the site.  We  will keep a candle lit during the week through Sunday morning.  Flowers have began to appear at the site and it will be kept as a sacred place for those who wished to remember him.

"Let there be life. Let there be light. Let there be healing. Let there be shalom."

(TJ and his family were connected to Tracyton United Methodist Church, he had been their janitor for a time.   Please keep this church community in your prayers.)
